In the world-famous Loire Valley and its chateaux, Amboise is a little city counting around 12.000 inhabitants. Renowned to house an amazing castle, and the last mansion of Leonard de Vinci, you will like the hilly landscape covered with vineyards.

After driving through the Loire Valley for a week we dropped our rental in Amboise and took the train to Paris. As a tourist the station was easy to get to and made the trip into Paris a breeze. We bought the tickets on line and the whole process could not have been easier
