Granada ! If the city is worldwide known that is above all thanks to its UNESCO-listed Alhambra palace. The first mentions of this palace date back to the 9th century and it is worth the visit in many respects.

Nearby, wow seeing the residence of the sultan. Beyond the Alhambra, stroll around the old city centre which is divided into 4 parts, for the 4 religions (christian, muslim, jewish, gypsy). See the gothic and renaissance style cathedral. If you like sciences head the Science’s Park, the most visited museum of the region.

Then explore the Cartuja’s monastery, a baroque style building housing a great paintings collection.

"Easy and comfortable"

  Codanda Chitrajit c.
Our journey from Granada to Seville was an easy, comfortable trip from start to end. Booking the tickets and printing them online before we left home was a simple and convenient procedure. From my point of view the tickets were a bit expensive since my low cost air tickets from Barcelona to Granada had only a slightly higher price!! But the train was spotlessly clean with easy-to-use luggage racks and a very well maintained toilet. The railway station was well organised and sign-posted in an intelligent manner so we, as tourists, did not face any inconvenience at all.

Even if the train arrived 1 hour late, the convinience of the location of the train station, the easiness to find your train are outsatnding. The train is very clean, very, very comfortable with leg room, and it is so relaxing versus driving.
