Don’t Miss

Valencia’s City of Arts and Science is an amazing futuristic structure, containing an IMAX theatre, an interactive science museum and Europe’s biggest marine park.

Retail Therapy

Valencia has many markets selling everything from bikes to antiques to clothes. Try the El Rastro market by the Mestalla Stadium for quality souvenirs, or the Paseo Maritimo market on the beach promenade offers clothing, beachwear and accessories.

Eat and Drink

Held in a stunning building, the Mercado Central is one of the oldest food markets in Europe and is great for picnic ingredients and holiday souvenirs. Valencia is a well-known party city – start at the bars of Calle Alta then head to the historic centre in the Barrio Carmen to dance till the sun comes up.

Hidden Gem

The overshadowed L’Umbracle garden at the City of Arts and Science is definitely worth further investigation. The fantastic garden contains over 50 plant species and a fun promenade, known as ’a balcony on the future’.

Day Trip

Just an hour from Valencia, El Saler has a beautiful clean beach with white sand, dunes, blue warm water and a gentle breeze. Located in La Albufera Nature Park it’s also a great place for water sports.
