Q. If I'm traveling through a country not included on Eurail Select Pass, can I add that country to the pass?A. Passes are only valid for travel in the countries covered by that particular pass. If you travel through a country not included on your pass, you'll need to purchase an additional ticket for that part of the trip. For example, if you travel from Germany to Italy through Austria, Austria is not a country on your Eurail Select Pass and will not be covered; you must purchase an additional ticket. If you have not purchased your pass please view our online maps to see if you will be travelling through a country you have not planned for.

- "Train Travel in Europe" Leslie w. 16/09/2015
As we have traveled before per train it is always the highlight of our tour. Trains are clean, on time, efficient service and good value for meals on board where served. You get more time to view the countryside, take photos and meet people. Most stations are conveniently sited and easily accessable and having the Select Saver Pass train travel is a pleasure. Will recommend to all who want to move around Europe at a reasonable cost. Value for money Convenience
- "The X-2000" John f. 28/06/2015
Five hours from Copenhagen to Stockholm - comfortable enough, but we had better seats in Germany Value for money Convenience
- "Convenient! " . 25/06/2015

- "Reservation fees were totally " Gregory v. 15/04/2015

- "next generation pass" Chi Ming l. 09/03/2014
Hi there Firstly, the pass is very good. Especially the mobile app w(e can search the train schedule. It is much convenient than I was using it 15years before. However, the pass itself is no changes. It is still a paper and we need to write down the date...same as what I did in 15 years b4. I suggest a next generation pass, smart card, like octopus in Hong Kong. It can record the journal automatically. Moreover, extra package would be offered,eg a travel buy Eur200 card, a special discount if based on each journal. Traffic is more flexible to use it. Hope my suggestion is useful. Thank. Rio Value for money Convenience
- "Good ticket" Yoshihiro n. 27/01/2014
The pass is very easy to use. It make our trip smooth. If possible, the lower price is better, of cause. I didn't see passengers very much in 1st train. It was inconvenient that we can't use the ticket separately in the group. Value for money Convenience
- "Family holiday" Tim o. 21/01/2014
The Eurail tickets were very easy to use, no issues at all in any country we travelled (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Netherlands). Definitely worth the extra €100 or so to go first class. The only complication was the slightly weird German booking system, where you can reserve seats with no tickets, or buy tickets without reserving seats. With the Eurail passes we were often unable to prebook seats without paying an extra fee, so managed this by getting to stations a little earlier. Travelling around Europe by train is a great way to go. Very comfortable, good service and reasonable food available on most trains. Plenty of space and sufficient room for suitcases (we had an extra case after all the shopping, and had no trouble fitting it in. We will travel this way again. Value for money Convenience
- "Very Good" . 10/01/2014
Very comfort trip, a little bit expensive.
- "Eurail deteriorated" John m. 08/01/2014
It is a shame that France dropped out of the Eurail Pass. Less convenient to have to buy several passes as the combined cost/period of use not as good. First Class is not value for money and as carriages seem invariably furthest from station entry sometimes it felt we were walking not train riding. Value for money Convenience
- "Europe Rail is Great" Eugene g. 03/01/2014
Travelled on both Italian and Swiss trains. Both were punctual and convenient. Trains were also fast and comfortable although the regional Italian trains were a tad old. Only complaint is the pricing. Unless traveling on multiple trips a day, Italian rail may not be worth the Europass daily cost. On the other hand, you do save a lot on Swiss rail given that they are very expensive. But the other problem is some of the Swiss private rail are not covered with the Europass. Value for money Convenience
- "Priority booking for family" Zenda l. 19/12/2013
Hi, We have enjoyed your overall services but felt that priority booking for family would be very helpful and less stressful as we travelled with three kids under age 12. Thank you. Best regards, Zenda Value for money Convenience
- "luggage " Mahdi d. 01/10/2013
the space for luggage was very small and we could not carry one medium size luggage and one small bag per person . Value for money Convenience
- "Europe Sojourn" . 29/09/2013
One of the best times we had in any of our family trips was during the May 2013 tour of Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The hallmark or rather the aspect which made this trip most memorable was the awesome Eurail. Hats off to the seamless, constraint free and comfortable ride which the Eurail provides to a traveler. We were a group of 4 adults and 1 child and had purchased a pass for 3 countries. Whilst Europe is gifted with scenic and pleasing environs, the infrastructure of Rail Europe is par excellence. I would like to take off on many such trips using the Eurail in future. Thank you Rail Europe for the wonderful experience !!
