Amsterdam Centraal train station is the main railway hub of Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands. More than 250,000 passengers transit through the train station daily. The Metro lines 51, 53 and 54 are connected to the Amsterdam Centraal. As from 2017, the Metro line 52 will add up to the list of connection Metros with the Amsterdam Centraal. Opened in 1889, the Amsterdam Centraal features a roof span of 40 metres. The station is located on three man made islands.
