Not enough room for luggage, and compartment for luggage was difficult to manage for heavy luggage.
First class seats are better.. opt for that ! Online system is easy to use, pay, collect n off u go..
There was no place to put my bags in, there was no numbers on chairs, the train itself was comfortable and quite smooth
Train travel in Switzerland was fantastic, always on time and always clean. Felt very safe. We did travel from Basel to Paris by train and the toilets were very bad and the main Railway Station in Paris was really dirty but that may have just been a bad day. All the stations in Switzerland were very clan. Staff at Stations and on Trains exceptionally helpful and also all announcements were made in a number if languages so that helped since English was one of them. Can highly recommend travelling by Rail if you are holidaying in Switzerland.
The train inside were clean and comfortable. Services and most of the staffs were good. One thing that bothering us was our seats were on upstairs so we had to bring all large luggage up with us which so tired and no one helped.
Yes I enjoyed the ride - it is very comfortable. As to value for money, I am not that certain.
We got a first class with a good promotion. It's very good fo travel for long distant. Staffs are very nice.
Trip was smooth, convenient and without issue. Train left on time and service was excellent on the train.
The trip was very good but to many stops
We were in 6 couch compartment. Was not at all comfortable. lady in the mid night came. making lot of noise. then she realised it was not her compartment. Secondly no offering of tea or coffee, toilets were unclean. Not a good experience of Thello atleast
i didn't know that TGV give passenger lunch! it suprised me! and service and facility was very good! i'll use TGV next time!
Really comfortable, fast train. This was our first time travelling on a train in Europe and we were really happy with the experience. Actually, even more comfortable than flying, very convenient plus lovely views. Food was really expensive though but that's to be expected I guess.
I had booked the first class tickets well in advance and it was worth it every penny. Since i was travelling with 2 year old son and lots of luggage, the first class compartment gave enough space and moreover excellent comfort for my 2 year old son. The staff was very nice and helpful and food was excellent too. Loved the journey.
