Reviews & ratings Lourdes - Bordeaux
We almost failed to catch our connecting train from Bordeaux to Paris. Our first train arrived late and we experienced difficulty in finding our connecting train because there are no proper signs / instructions at the station. At the connecting train, we have to hop on the first car we saw, dragging our luggages, because there's no more time figuring out which car we are supposed to board. The train started moving just in time when we boarded.
It was a night train and there's a good change that you will miss your stop if you stay inside your cabin since there's no "silent" alert that would inform the passengers of the next stop. In our case, we just stood near the exit door more than 30min before the scheduled arrival at Lourdes station just to make sure we will not miss our stop.
Train travel is good in Europe if you do not have many luggages on toll. It provides hassle-free travelling and time saving.
It was a good experience traveling from Lourdes to Bordeaux. The information on the website, train stations were excellent. The compartment and the seats are comfortable. Overall we enjoyed the trip
Trains on time, excellent comfort n quite a good coffee on board ;)
It was a very comfortable trip once we found the correct coach. As we wanted to travel to Charles de Gaulle airport, we had to change trains in Bordeaux St. Jean which was a pity as there was no direct train to CDG from Lourdes.
Good value, conlductors hard to find if you had questions
Really delighted with the smooth and timely trip. Officers came around to check tickets and make their rounds gave a safe feeling.
my first time t visit Lourdes the trip to there was very convenient.. the train ticket procurement was very convenient online and the people in the station were helpful in instructing us where to go.. although i would appreciate it more if the people in the information area speak more english to help lost tourist finding their way
No wifi on this train available Hot meal was not available, even a very simple one Suggest to have hot meal like soup etc , just simple ones.
Travelling from Lourdes to Paris is very comfortable without delay. Nice to view green sorrounding. Having a nice sleep for 1 hour. It will be good if there is free wi-fi inside the train especially for the those travelling for long hours.
The train ride itself was flawless however, the service at the train station was hard to find. There were a few times when we needed help knowing what cars to be in and there was no assistance on the platforms.
The next time i travel throughout europe in TGv, im gonna take the non-stop routes.. indirect trips are too crowded and stops at every 15 mins.
Stress free on time and nice and relaxing
The TGV was very comfortable and the assiatance personnel at Bordeaux were very courteous.
