Reviews & ratings Lyon - Paris
It was a great deal my trip, very convenient, however I should improve the way you mark the cars in the stations, it is a little difficult to understand in which car is located your seat
Finding the coach number is not that easy... and to think that i had to carry my luggage up through the stairs of the station. But i think it's okay, it was all part of the experience.
This trip was perfect
It was a good, fast and convenient way to travel with lovely countryside to view out the windows. Easy to purchase tickets online and to find the right platform at the station. Train was perfectly on time.
We took the train from Paris to Lyon and had no hassles at all you need to note your carriage number on the ticket. Since you have only 20 mins from the platform number going up on the board and actual boarding you need to keep your wits about you. In all its a very good option in France and we'd definitely do it again.
It is the best mode of travelling in France. Travelled both in First and Second class, a comfortable ride. Use TGV trains for time saving and local TER trains for money saving.
The train from Lyon to Roanne is very convenient.
We required to drop our rental at Lyon and get to Paris. The TGV is always on time and very comfortable. The restaurant serves good fast food and it is in itself a great place to actually enjoy the ride from. We usually travel downstairs on the TGV but this time we were upstairs and it is much easier to watch the world go by being a little higher.
Hi, The train ride was smooth and satisfactory. I would only recommend to add WIFI connectivity for the convenience of the travelers, at least for those traveling in 1st Class.
excellent in all aspects. full 5 *s
This trip was fine. Wi Fi would be nice. Thanks! Julia Louw firstname.lastname@example.org
Comfortable and Fast. Glad that it was a direct train ride.
Thought the train was very comfortable and bag safety was not really an issue because the train carriage we were in had only one way in and one way out. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family!
After 3 weeks of travel across Southern France (biking, hiking, and driving), we settled into our TGV seats for a relaxing 5.5 hour ride back to Paris. How pleasant it was to have time to reflect on our travels and rest. We did not find the angle of the headrest comfortable, so we got out the inflatable pillows we use on airline flights and it was fine. We had our own picnic, so I cannot comment on the train food. The coffee was excellent. Next time I am in Paris I will remember how easy it is to get to the beach in Biarritz!
I did not have any problem with Rail Europe Tickets which I procured online in India.
