Reviews & ratings Milan - Verona

  • "First Class"
First Class seating is very comfy, and there is free espresso and snack, newspaper. Satisfied! If free WIFI is available that's better
  • "very long trip"
when we were on the station, we did not find the train we marked in the schedule. it was another train that changed his time and we were 30 minutes staying in it. Beside this the train was stopping on every small station, so our trip was 2 h 10 mins. Before the trip we tried to ask some workers at the station about it, everybody sent us to the trenitalia information desk where were about 20 people waiting. So, we ask to understand better what kinds of trains we can use when you send us the tickets, thank you
  • "Seating"
The tickets and train worked very well. We have pre-reserved seats in 1st class. We were four persons and only two were seated together.
  • "Take the train, it’s fast."
We planned our Italian adventure around train transport and weren't disappointed. For a start there are plenty of them and are reasonably priced. The stations are centre city so easy to get to and from. The train seats are comfortable but there isn't enough leg room. Also some trains do not have adequate luggage racks. We charged our tablet at the seat. Food and drink are allowed, but 'don't throw your bottles out the window' as the sign says. Hardly saw a conductor, and although we had tickets often didn't have to show them. Unfortunately beggars ride the trains so watch all your belongings.
  • "Como"
The overall experience was good, but when we arrived early at the platform our train was waiting at the end of the platform rather then arriving and then departing so everyone, including Italians had no idea that the stationary train was ours and there was no one there to help. In the end we were there early enough to get on the train and make it to Milan..
  • "avoid"
Never got our tickets as promised even though we paid for them.
  • "Nice train for my trip"
Good Italian trains , but, please allow me to say 2 things : 1/ Very complicated system to book tickets from TRENITALIA inter-net , I bought tickets from Eurotrain System . 2/ Whay so hight (gap) between coach to the platform ? when arrival the destination , very hard to move luggage from coach to platform , especially for woman .
  • "Poor travel experience"

  • "Smooth journey"
