Reviews & ratings Nice - Avignon
I had booked the ticket on line and reserved my seat. I had chosen the train time to ensure I made it from the airport to the station on time. I arrived earlier than expected and was just in time to catch the earlier train but was unable to change my ticket. However, this was very politely explained to me. The railway station in Nice was uncomfortable as there was no seating and there were crowds of people. I noticed that it is currently being renovated so this may explain this. The train arrived on time, there was very good signage of the carriages and I found my seat easily. The journey was fantastic - comfortable and pleasant. The return journey was equally as good. I would not hesitate to use this route again.
Very pleasant traveling in the TGV. Train stations safe and easy to find platforms. Highly recommend way of traveling.
This is my first time to take the TGV . The train is on time , the seat is comfortable!
A thoroughly enjoyable and stress free experience. Great vale for money.
The information on net was not clear. The procedure of getting the tickets and making reservation is complicated. The information got in different stations are different. The staff are not helpful.
The train ride is pleasant. Seats are comfortable and there is ample leg room.
Clean and comfortable train and a nice trip. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We recently travelled from Avignon to Montauban transferring at Montpellier. Train service was on time. Montpellier station is being renovated and was quite difficult to get on and off platforms due to crowds. For short trips, second class travel on French trains is perfectly adequate.
Fantastic - comfortable, very convenient and was excellent value for money.
nice TGV cabin, and quite quiet during the journey
