Reviews & ratings Nice - Lyon
TGV run a very efficient service. The trip in 2nd class was quite comfortable and the company was friendly. The views of the countryside were a bonus. TGV staff passed through the carriage to check tickets, so we were confident that there were no free-loaders.
Very comfortable and enjoyable trip, 35EUR first class at TGV (tariff TGV Prem)
The Paris to Lyon train journey was peaceful and exciting at the same time. I was traveling with my wife and 4 year old daughter and we opted for the 1st class which was a blessing as there was more space for our luggage and lots of leg room and space for my daughter to play and for us to lounge. We spend the time window gazing into the bucolic beauty of France while sketching, wining and dozing. The train attendants were most helpful and warm making our journey truely memorable.
Another comfortable train journey in Spain.
Fantastic - comfortable, very convenient and was excellent value for money.
The trip was all of the above and we were very satisfied with the ticket allocations too. Maybe a little note to first time travellers about the platform numbers not coming up until just before the train goes would alleviate their minds and perhaps a plan of the train as to where your coach might be could be a little bit helpful. But it was terrific and I certainly will use them again Thank you.
