Venice is a unique experience for every traveller and certainly a must for lovers. Few people know that Venice is actually an island-city with a train bridge connecting it to mainland Italy. This romantic city actually has no roads at all! To move around there are 150 canals and over 400 bridges! Venice has also beautiful churches, squares and museums. The southern part of the Venice has a certain village feel. Perfect to wander around in the little alleys, get lost and finally reach the Santa Margherita square. Ideal place for its lively bars!
Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet.
Located in Northern Italy, Verona will amaze you thanks to its glorious past, its heritage and its beautiful tiny cobbled streets that will lead you in the historic centre. No worries, you will find there everything you are looking for.
Reviews & ratings Venice - Verona
We spent some days in Venice and departed out of Verona - day spent in Verona was perfect. Train station had luggage storage and Hop on Hop Off bus stop.
Like Train was clean. Train depart on time. Dislike Pre-booking (via internet) of seat for 3 year old child is not allowed. Internet connection on train does not work for travellers that do not have a valid local authentication information.
Love to take train from Venice to Verona. The seats are nice and comfortable, appreciate if there is more space for the big luggage
all good, but it was a day of a strike and the train was 20 min late. Was nervous because of that ) all other very good
I would like to emphasize the great comfort of trains. treated to an excellent trip, very comfortable. I just mean as a negative the fact I have booked the tickets on the internet and with this situation I has paid 9 euros more per booking, which raised much the value of the trip. Me and my wife had the opportunity to meet many train stations in Italy. I say this comment for all tourists for not booking online because we can make reservations very quickly on the machines available in train stations and save 9 euros. I'll never do a reservation of trains through over the internet.
We planned our Italian adventure around train transport and weren't disappointed. For a start there are plenty of them and are reasonably priced. The stations are centre city so easy to get to and from. The train seats are comfortable but there isn't enough leg room. Also some trains do not have adequate luggage racks. We charged our tablet at the seat. Food and drink are allowed, but 'don't throw your bottles out the window' as the sign says. Hardly saw a conductor, and although we had tickets often didn't have to show them. Unfortunately beggars ride the trains so watch all your belongings.
