Reviews & ratings Avignon - Paris
We enjoyed our train journey and found the whole experience a fantastic package...a bit confusing however for overseas tourists like us who weren't aware that Avignon has TWO train staions. We nearly went to the wrong one i.e. TGV Station.
It was fast but there were just too many stops on the way to Marseille. The luggage storage was too small for the number of passengers in the coach, especially with some travellers who have big suitcases.
Family of three, mother and two adult daughters enjoyed the efficiency of the TGV from Avignon Centre to Paris. The train was on time, it was comfortable, and fast.
We thought the train service was excellent and the train was very comfortable. One suggestion is that you have a help line which is well publicised. We had a query and struggled to get assistance in English.
excellent in all aspects. full 5 *s
Beautiful train station in Paris. Easy to figure out which train to board. On time and comfortable. Great experience. Best of all was able to book it all online.
Comfortable trip. The toilets could be cleaner
Its easy to order the tickets online. And no problem to get on the train at all. 簡單,方便,快捷 Traveller from HKG.
The price of the tickets we got were very good deals. The train was comfort and convenience.
Everything was great except for no wi-fi on train
A big thank you to TGV staff as I had made a mistake with our booking and instead of departing from Avignon Central, we had departed from Gare TGV in Avignon. I did not know there were 2 stations. Staff managed to get us on the next TGV from Gare TGV and all went very well. The trip was fast and good. It is a highly recommendable mode of transport!
The station was clean. Staffs were helpful. The coach, the toilette, and the seats were very clean. Strong recommended!
Excellent experience... Very smooth ride and many amenities (food, drinks). Staff were personable and helpful.
The train was timely and efficient. The signboard that tells you where to stand for the coach at the station was good and thoughtful. On the train, more places for storage of large bulky luggage is required and these are insufficient now especially for trains that service incoming visitors at CDG airport. Overall, an efficient and value for money travel mode.
Our trip was from Paris to Avignon but the trains final destination was Nice Ville, The train stopped for less than 3 minutes at the Avignon Station and we did not have enough time to desembark the train as we had various pieces of luggage and were traveling with and elderly lady, the trains next stop was at Toulon, more than an hour away. We got good service at Toulon and were dispatched back to Avignon on the next train back. This took more than 3 hours. I think the train driver should make sure all passengers have disembarked before going on his way.
