I used online booking to get tickets for 2 couples traveling together in Italy. I found the website easy to navigate and booked well in advance of travel. When I received my booking reference information, I was not clear if the one page was for all four people or if I had missed something in the electronic transfer. Arriving in Rome, I waited at a ticket booth to confirm that I had what I needed. It was true - all I needed was the one page I printed at home (with the bar code) and that was our ticket to ride. It was so easy to book/print tickets in Canada and ride a train in Italy. Just get on the train!    Value for money  Convenience

    "Good trip"

I would like to emphasize the great comfort of trains. treated to an excellent trip, very comfortable. I just mean as a negative the fact I have booked the tickets on the internet and with this situation I has paid 9 euros more per booking, which raised much the value of the trip. Me and my wife had the opportunity to meet many train stations in Italy. I say this comment for all tourists for not booking online because we can make reservations very quickly on the machines available in train stations and save 9 euros. I'll never do a reservation of trains through over the internet.    Value for money  Convenience

Booking was simple and easy, all connections were listed so that really helped. I booked last minute and still received my tickets in time - phew! The train was clean and comfortable. Was approached by a beggar on the train but ultimately was safe.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Take the train, it’s fast."

We planned our Italian adventure around train transport and weren't disappointed. For a start there are plenty of them and are reasonably priced. The stations are centre city so easy to get to and from. The train seats are comfortable but there isn't enough leg room. Also some trains do not have adequate luggage racks. We charged our tablet at the seat. Food and drink are allowed, but 'don't throw your bottles out the window' as the sign says. Hardly saw a conductor, and although we had tickets often didn't have to show them. Unfortunately beggars ride the trains so watch all your belongings.    Value for money  Convenience

They only announce the platform about ten minutes before departure, so stand where you can see the departure board and the platforms. Train is an excellent way to travel Venezia to Firenze, which is not picturesce and has many tunnels. Both railway stations are very central. We had advance purchase tickets, which were a good price. Very comfortable seats, and room to leave luggage at the end of the carriage. They bought us a drink and a snack.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Late evening journey"

      Joy Enid t.  18/07/2014
This train was very comfortable in first class. It was a little disappointing to find there was very little food available. The main thing we did not enjoy about the trip was that one of the toilets was not working and the other perhaps out of water but had been left in a disgusting state. It was necessary to use the toilet in the next carriage. The young man who was the attendant for our car was extremely friendly and helpful.    Value for money  Convenience
