We exprerienced mechanical breakdown during the travel. Maintenance shall be enhanced. No headphone provided and we were not able to enjoy the movie shown. It is possible to increase the speed of the train?    Value for money  Convenience

    "" Good solution but..""

      Fadi h.  18/09/2014
To be fair, the connection Sevilla / Madrid is very practical on Renfe and train was really on time. However during the trip, compartiment was tremendously warm and I had to go and see the steward to complain about heat...It took about 30 mn to get back a decent temperature in the compartiment again. Also it would be nice being on first class to get the chance to be served at least every hour of trip the possibility to buy refreshements or snacks etc...We had the service only once, 15 mn after the departure from Sevilla. thanks.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Problem with air-conditioning"

      Bo Man l.  18/09/2014
Our trip lasted for about 5 hrs. Yet the air-conditioning service in our coach (1st class) was out of function not long after our boarding the train. It was too hot that finally we had to switched to another coach.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Madrid to Malaga"

      Angela n.  16/09/2014
We got the preferente 1st class tix from Madrid to Malaga and back. The tix were easy to use and the renfe was clean and convenient. Only thing that they need to make clear is that the 1st class breakfasts are NOT included over the weekends. This was disappointing but they had food, drinks and snacks for purchase if needed.    Value for money  Convenience

"cheapest way to travel in Euro"

      Sonia p.  13/09/2014
Be aware that it isn't that confortable if your traveling long distances and your planning to rest. But it's really not expensive considering we traveled from Madrid to Lisboa.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Seats arrangements"

Hi, We were family of four and I was expecting four seats with each two facing each other, unfortunately this was not the case in that trip.    Value for money  Convenience

The train was too slow. There should have been charging points for every seat which would have made life easier to plug in mobiles    Value for money  Convenience

    "Comfortable trip"

The train seats were quite comfortable and provided suitable space to stretch and sleep. It would be nice to have individual cubicles.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Easy and fast "

      Philip l.  10/09/2014
Clean trains, very fast, comfortable at a decent price. Minus points: 1. Passengers were in confusion in Barcelona Sants Station as when the train arrived its electronic displays on the carriage displayed the wrong information. 2. Arrival in Valencia and on return to Barcelona were 10 -15 minutes late 3. On trip from Valencia to Barcelona there is x-ray scanners for luggage, knives will be confiscated. Although similar to airplane rules their is no possibility to pack prohibited items in any other bag. So do not buy decorative knives etc in Spain. There was no warning about this and it did happen in Barcelona    Value for money  Convenience

    "Pleasant journey"

      Ranjana r.  10/09/2014
Journey was very comfortable, even though the train was held up for almost three hours because of problem with the machine. The staff made us feel comfortable and assured. The experience was very pleasant even through the hazard.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Family Trip "

      Umair Ali k.  09/09/2014
The train was quite comfortable, however, the interior of the train needs some renovation as it looks dated compared to similar trains in the UK (operated by Virgin Trains). The service was smooth and on-time.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Train journey"

      Anindita g.  07/09/2014
I loved the train journey, the cleanliness and th comfort. the only issue i had was that there wasnt enough baggage space for big luggages, every compartment only had one spot for luggage holder which was always full. I would definitely recommend Rail Europe into all my friends in the future.    Value for money  Convenience

    "Our trip. "

      Howard g.  06/09/2014
This was a great delight. The train was very comfortable even though it was quite full. I was somewhat disappointed that although booking in early June for a late August trip, and paying extra for seat numbers, our group of three from New Zealand could not be given a table setting with two on one side and one on the other. Instead we were spread across the aisle and right by a large window pillar, making viewing the amazing scenery very restricted. Although quite full there were still places free by the big windows that others used but were not ours.    Value for money  Convenience
