Reims is a French town located in the Champagne-Ardenne region, northeast of Paris. The town of Reims has four UNESCO World Heritage Sites, museums and landmarks which bear witness to a rich and glorious past. The town is the gateway to the Champagne region. From Reims, visitors can visit great champagne houses such as Veuve Clicquot, Taittinger, Pommery and Ruinart. There are sereval landmarks of interest in Reims, namely the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Palace of Tau, and the Saint-Remi Basilica.

The latter was a Buddhist and Japanese by birth, who experienced an outburst of faith for Catholicism when visiting the Basilica of Sain-Remi in Reims.
