Roma Tiburtina is the second most important railway station in Rome and one of the largest railway stations in Italy. It is located in eastern Rome, north of Roma Termini railway station. Over 20 million passengers transit through the Roma Tiburtina railway station every year.

Roma Tiburtina railway station has been renovated to transform it into a high speed rail hub. Roma Tiburtina railway station is connected to the Rome metro Line B. Inside the modern Roma Tiburtina railway station, travellers can find shops, bookshops, pharmacy, newspaper shops, cash card facilities, and automatic ticket machines. Outside the station, there is a bus station and taxis.
